We live in a society filled with a lot of hustle and bustle. People are running around trying to make a living; driving or commuting to work in heavy traffic, with many people on each other’s nerves. Everyone is trying to get somewhere.Hence, to wake up early or at least to be on time, some set the alarm clock because like they say, “time’s a wasting,” – there are things to do and money to be made.
God gives us tools to help us daily but He is the One who is the Master Composer, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Author and Finisher of our faith. You can make many plans but His purpose for you will prevail (Proverbs 19:21).
Beloved, don’t depend on human creation (the alarm clock) alone but on your Heavenly Father, whom we call “Abba Father.”
The alarm clock can fail. The battery can die, equipment can malfunction, jobs can disappear, cars can vanish, the economy can crash, licenses can be revoked, and technology can fail but the LORD lives.
The LORD is El Olam, the Eternal and Everlasting God (Psalm 90:2). He gives life. Without Him, you are nothing. Therefore, commit your day (and life) into His hands and ask Him to take control. HE will never fail you (Hebrews 13:5).
