Dear Man or Woman of God, this message is for you:
Shake the dust off your feet when necessary. It is not cowardice or assignment abandonment but sanctified common sense.
Many problems can be avoided if we would just shake the dust off our feet and move on to the next assignment. However, because we are “people of faith,” we misunderstand the expired season. We operate with “persistent faith” and believe that stubborn folks must receive our message. That would be really lovely, right? However, it is the Lord who draws men unto Him, not us. Therefore, do your work and leave the rest to God.
Don’t remain in a place where your assignment is already finished.
The Bible teaches us that: “If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.” Matthew 10:14
It is time to leave some locations (even audience) behind. Paul and Barnabas shook the dust off their feet when some folks in Antioch became problematic (Acts 13:51). They went to the next assignment location: Iconium.
Some people (including well-meaning servants of God) will tell you to “hang in there, it is what it is, you belong there..” but you must listen to whatever the Holy Spirit tells you. Your destiny is different from theirs. You have your own lane that is customized for you.
Beware of being rooted in a location that God has already uprooted you.
If God sends you back to your roots, it is because your assignment has a language and identity. Please deliver His exact message and let it transform the people. In this season, you must go back to the drawing board = GENESIS; the beginning. What did God call you to do? What did you write down in the vision? Go back to the beginning because emancipation dwells there.
