In Mark 4:5,16-17 NLT, Jesus spoke about the Parable of the Sower. He said,

“other seed fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seed sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow…The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word.”

Beloved, don’t allow troubles or people’s perception of you keep you from worshipping God and being rooted in His Word. Don’t allow the issues of yesterday or today sway you. Once you receive the Word, believe absolutely, completely.

Why care about what people think if they see or hear you following Christ? When it comes to the crunch, who’s got your back? When friends and family disappear and you can’t find them anywhere, who’s there for you?

Be unapologetically and unashamedly Christian!

So creative! I was just geittng ready to reply to another post that showed up in my reader and it disappeared. I just wanted to share that I understand about friendships and the struggles. I loved your mention of the Father not forming “cliques”….very touching and encouragement for me today..
