Why Am I Not Healed?

Persistent Faith · October 30, 2014

why am I not healed?
It’s no joke when you pray and pray and yet nothing happens. You wonder, “why am I not healed?” Right? Does this resonate with you:

Why didn’t I get healed? I’m a believer, tongue-talking Jesus follower, I bear no grudge against anyone and love people. I try my best to live a godly life, so why am I not healed?

Healing can be instantaneous.
Healing can be progressive.
Healing comes by faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus healed two blind men instantly according to their faith (Matthew 9:29) He asked them, “do you believe that I can make you see?” and they replied, “YES.” And Jesus said, “because of your faith, it will happen.”

Another example of instant healing was when Jesus touched the leprous man in Matthew 8:3 and immediately he was healed.

Progressive healing happens as you go along..as you go about your business..as you carry on with your life..walking by faith..BELIEVING and receiving.

Ten lepers (Luke 17:11-17) cried out to the Lord, “Jesus, have mercy on us.” Jesus replied, “go show yourselves to the priest.” And as they went, their leprosy disappeared.

It is important to note that the healing occurred as they went. It wasn’t instant but as they were going, they got healed!

Don’t doubt God’s power because what you desire has not been made manifest in the physical yet.

When a victorious word is spoken into your life, receive it, believe it and walk in it. Great things are happening in the supernatural – your miracle can happen instantly, it can be progressive AND God can use someone to deliver you too.

It happened to Hezekiah.

When Hezekiah was sick with a near death experience (2 Kings 20), Isaiah said, “Make a paste from figs.” So they made it and put it on Hezekiah’s boil [inflammation], and Hezekiah recovered.

Fret not, healing can come with a big bang and happen instantly or it can be progressive. Besides, God can use someone to heal you!
