There is a time to be known and a time to hide, not because you are foolish or a coward, but because you understand the times and you move as led by the Holy Spirit.
Your silence can be misconstrued for weakness or cowardice but those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God (Romans 8:14) and God certainly takes care of His seed!
If you do not understand the times, 3 things can happen:
- The enemy can easily trap you.
- You can halt your destiny by entering an agreement God did not ordain.
- Your nonchalance or lack of awareness of the times can hinder blessings of your seed and future generations.
This is one reason why we must pray for the Issachar anointing – for God to help us understand the times that we are in, when to move or when to stay, whether to speak or whether to stay silent, to fight or to wait.
In 1 Chronicles 12:32, the men of Issachar understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take.
Your destiny is too important to step out when you should sit down. Your life is too precious to fly when you should walk. Your purpose is too significant to crawl when you should run.
Many mistakes in life can be avoided and averted if we understand the times that we are in and not allow frustration to push us to hasty decisions.
Desperation can make you misunderstand the times.
In desperate times, because you really want something badly, you may just proceed with what you should wait for, and even convince yourself that you are doing the right thing.
Get wisdom and direction from the Word of God and yield to the voice of the Holy Spirit, that still small voice that we don’t want to hear sometimes.
As you yield to understand the times, remain steadfast in your belief that God will not allow your feet to stumble because you are in tune with the Holy Spirit.
Ponder the path of your feet and know that sometimes, the enemy will invite you to enticing destinations to trap you but God is on the throne. You shall not be moved.
