When Jesus is in it, there is an accelerated arrival; a sudden divine speed that takes you to your destination faster. You won’t even know how it happened but you will discover that you have arrived.
“So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid. But He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.” – John 6:19-21 NKJV
This year, we must willingly receive Christ on our journey and believe Him. Jesus told the disciples not to be afraid. They received him and there was an accelerated arrival at the destination.
Even if the storm looks like it’s about to take you out, don’t be afraid. A quick solution is coming to you. All you have to do right now is believe.
Let’s go back to the drawing board and jumpstart our faith.
I am reminded of the Scripture in Proverbs 3:5 NLT that says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.”
This year (and always), if we choose to follow our own understanding of situations we cannot comprehend, chances are that we will fall. Let’s press to the finish line with persistent, unshakeable faith.
Sail with Christ and you won’t remain the same. BELIEVE.
