
Faith is a grace conduit.
Faith is a channel that gives us access to the grace we enjoy today. Faith is a necessity. It’s spiritual food for our existence. We need faith to run this race especially with time ticking so fast that we must activate and implement purpose now.
“We have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand” – Romans 5:2 NIV
Faith preserves your integrity.
Because of unwavering faith in God and confidence in what you hope for, you won’t make hasty decisions that can negatively affect your destiny or lives of generations to come.
Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. – Hebrews 11:2 NLT
To be tagged a person of faith is no joke and the phrase should not be taken lightly. It is referred to someone who really and totally believes in the Lord, what He stands for and operates with proper confidence in what he or she hopes for. “Faith is the reason we remember great people who lived in the past” (Hebrews 11:2 NCV).
Faith shifts and shapes destiny.
It was by faith that Abraham left a familiar and known place to an unknown territory. That great move of faith activated what we receive and declare today.
“It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.” – Hebrews 11:8 NLT
A journey of faith can connect you to your destiny helper, spouse, business partner, or even the key ingredient that is needed for your life to be elevated and promoted.
Faith gives us peace.
Because of our faith we have peace with God. Our belief in the Lord gives us peace. Life will happen, things won’t necessarily go the way we want always, but we must continuously trust in the Lord at all times.
Job suffered devastating loss including his family but his trust in God did not waver. He said: “Because even if he killed me, I’d keep on hoping.” – Job 13: 15 MSG
Ezekiel as a prophet of God, although the assignment God gave him to carry out was weird and enough to make folks think the servant of God had lost his mind, nonetheless, he proceeded anyway. His faith in the Lord helped him proceed despite the absurdity of the task.
The prophet was told to bake food using human excrement as fire! What?
“You are to build a fire out of dried human excrement, bake bread on the fire, and eat it where everyone can see you.” – Ezekiel 4:12 GNT
Question: Can you really have peace of mind to carry out a task the Lord says you should do even if you think it may get you into good trouble?
